Joanna McGlynn, born on September 14, 1959, in New York, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in Newport News, Virginia, at the age of 66.

She was a beloved wife, mother, and friend whose presence was cherished by all who knew her. Joanna was preceded in death by her loving parents, Benjamin and Jane Godwin, whose memories she held dear throughout her life.

Left to mourn her passing is her devoted husband, Kevin McGlynn, along with her cherished children, extended family, and a wide circle of friends who were touched by her warmth and kindness.

A gathering to celebrate Joanna's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will come together to honor her memory and reflect on the beautiful moments shared with her.
