Suffolk- John D. Rank was born on September 18, 1940; he passed away on February 13, 2023 at his home in Suffolk, VA. He served in the Navy and retired after 21 years, he also served in the Army Corp of Engineers for 17 years. His main hobby was looking for unique piggy banks. He enjoyed working in his yard, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was known for his vegetables from his garden. John is survived by his two children; Katrinia Nelson and her husband Curtis Nelson Jr. and Robert Rank; two grandchildren Amber Critzer and Christopher Nelson; four great- grandchildren Alexander R., Serena R., Savannah C. and Grayson C.
