Obituary For John Lindsey Aldrich
On Wednesday February 24th, 2021 in Chesapeake, VA, John Lindsey Aldrich passed away, reuniting with his youngest daughter Lisa Asby. He leaves behind his wife Pam, daughter Angela and son-in-law Ernie Hyman, 3 grandkids, Brooke and Taylor Hyman and Colton Asby. Along with his younger brother Lewis Aldrich and sister-in-law Tammy and first wife Kiyoko. John was born in Cliffside, NC to Frank and Gertrude Aldrich on January 28, 1943. After graduating high school in 1961, John joined the Navy and proudly served his country for 20 years before retiring in 1981. Shortly after, John began working for the Department of Defense until 1999. John enjoyed several outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and his all-time favorite golf. John could be found on the golf course any day of the week, rain or shine. John will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

I am very sorry to hear of John Aldrich's passing. He was a fine example to emulate.

John was a great man and a proud veteran. He will be greatly missed and we are all better people for having known him. I am sure he is up in Heaven playing golf as we speak. May our wonderful memories of him last forever.
