Newport News- John (Jack) was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and married his high school sweetheart, Doris. Jack was in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII. He and his family came to the United States in 1959, where he spent most of his career with General Motors. Jack was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason, who recently celebrated 60 years as a Free Mason. He was a good, simple, caring man who loved his family dearly. He was 96. He leaves behind his wife of nearly 74 years, 2 daughters, and 4 grandchildren.
