  I visited Johnny at the hospital and took him some cookies a couple days before he passed on and he was so cheerful. Johnny was like family to me and my husband. I've known Johnny since he was a teenager. He always kept his word when working for us. I will miss him a lot. Jean Jasper

  Johnny Westra was our cousin from his fathers side of the family (Dutch origin). When Johnny informed us about his illness we were so sorry to hear that there was little hope for recovery. We are sad over his loss at such a young age. Our special gratitude goes to his friends Jerry & Barry who stood by him in the last difficult hours, Wilhelmina, Paula en Gerda

  Met Johnny when he was a little boy - his parents and my parents were friends so they would visit our house. As a youngster Johnny had plenty of energy I will say!! R.I.P. So sorry May God be with the family. Rosina (Johnson)
