  Judy, I still remember the very first day I met you, back when I got the job in the deli. I had no idea then that you weren't just training me for work—you were quietly taking me under your wing and into your heart. You showed me everything I needed to know with patience, kindness, and a love that felt so natural it took me a while to realize how rare it truly was. I never knew that moment would mark the beginning of you becoming one of the biggest pieces holding my heart together. You were steady. You were safe. You were love in motion. I could always count on you. Every single year, without fail, you sent a message on my birthday—February 7th—a day I shared with Joseph, something we often joked about together. It was such a small act, yet it meant everything to me. It reminded me that I was seen, remembered, and loved. Losing you has left a quiet ache in my soul—a space where your voice, your laughter, and your presence used to be. I miss you more than words can hold. Some days, I would give anything just to feel one of your hugs again, the kind that made everything feel bearable, even when life felt heavy. Letting go is hard, but I find comfort in knowing you are finally resting, free from labor and pain. And even in this heartbreak, there is deep gratitude. Thank you for every moment, every lesson, every laugh, and every ounce of love you poured into me. Knowing you changed me. Loving you strengthened me. And nothing—not even death—can take that away.
