Obituary For Karen Placeda Susko

Karen Placeda Susko, born on November 13, 1959, in Lakewood, Ohio, passed away on June 25, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 65.

Karen dedicated her professional life to serving as an Aircraft Mechanic for the United States Navy. Her career was marked by a steadfast commitment to excellence and service, reflecting her deep sense of duty and professionalism.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Eleanor Susko and Edward Susko. Karen is survived by her devoted partner, Gail Hoffman, who provided her with unwavering support and companionship, and her much loved dog Meli.

Karen's legacy will be cherished by all who knew her, and her presence will be profoundly missed.
