Kathryn Pearl Bartram, born on December 16, 1958, in Newport News, Virginia, passed away peacefully in her hometown on February 26, 2026, at the age of 67.

Kathryn was a dedicated and hardworking individual who spent her career as a server at Golden Corral, where she was known for her warm smile and kind heart. Her commitment to her work and her gentle demeanor left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Cannon, as well as her parents, Myra Nell Newell and Lloyd Junior Newell.

Kathryn's memory will be cherished by her loving children, Dana Michele Cannon and DJ Cannon. She had so much love for her five granddaughters and one great-grandson, all of whom brought her immense joy.

She was loved by a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Kathryn's life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank all those who have reached out with their condolences and support during this difficult time.
