Kathy Louise Staner, 71, of Quarryville, PA, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. She was born on August 18, 1953, to Mary Louise Cauller and Glenn Eugene Murr in Lancaster, PA.

Kathy graduated from Solanco High School, where she was a majorette and an active member of her church community. Her most cherished role in life was being a stay-at-home mom, where her devotion to her family was unwavering.

In her younger years, Kathy enjoyed traveling and had a love for cross-stitching. In her later days, she found joy in the simple things—spending time with her beloved son and grandchildren, relaxing at home, and working on all kinds of puzzles. A true homebody at heart, Kathy found comfort and peace in the familiar surroundings of her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Louise Murr and Glenn Eugene Murr; her sister, Vicki Good; and her brothers, Glen Murr and Thomas Murr.

Kathy is survived by her son, Michael Allan Staner; her grandchildren, Jayson Townsley and Abram Staner.

Kathy’s warmth, dedication, and kind spirit will forever be remembered. Her legacy lives on in the lives of those she loved so deeply. May she rest in peace.
