Obituary For Kenneth Roger Hill, Jr.
Kenneth "Roger" Hill, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on November 17, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a whole lot of charm. Born on January 26, 1977, in Nottoway, Virginia, Roger lived a life filled with passion, adventure, and the determination to make every moment count. He was a true handyman at heart, ready to fix anything that came his way.
Roger's professional journey led him to become a Maintenance Tech responsible for the repair of all the men's hair cutting shops, "Sport Clips" throughout Hampton Roads. His dedication to his work was evident in the impeccable service he provided.
Outside of work, Roger enjoyed channeling his handyman skills into his own home. There was no repair or improvement too big or small for him to tackle. Whether it was fixing up the house or working on his cars, Roger approached every project with enthusiasm and a determination to get the job done right.
One of Roger's favorite pastimes was spending quality time with his son, Nathaniel. They bonded over putting together model cars, creating memories that will forever hold a special place in Nathaniel's heart. Roger's competitive spirit was not limited to his work; he would also engage in spirited Xbox sessions with his wife, making every gaming session an exhilarating experience. Together, they embarked on adventures, camping trips, and thrilling rides on razors, cherishing the joy of shared experiences.
Roger is survived by his loving wife and life partner, Tiffani Reeves Hill, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Their unbreakable bond was a testament to their unwavering commitment to one another. Roger's proudest accomplishment was his son Nathaniel, who brought immeasurable joy and love into his life.
In addition to his immediate family, Roger is survived by his parents Sharon Marie Hill and Kenneth Roger Hill Sr, his older sister Connie Hill, as well as his nephew Justin Clay, nephew Christopher Tucker, and niece Kristin Tucker. He was preceded in death by his older sister Tammy Hill and his oldest niece, Faith Hill. Roger's infectious spirit and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service, in accordance with Roger's wishes, will not be a formal affair. Instead, a casual get-together is being planned to honor his memory. Details will be shared once they are finalized. In the meantime, a fund has been set up to support Tiffani and Nathaniel as they navigate the challenges of a new life without Roger. This fund aims to provide them with the necessary assistance during unexpected times.
Roger will forever remain in our hearts as a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished friend. His wit, kindness, and ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around him will serve as a constant reminder of the beautiful soul we were fortunate enough to have known. May he rest in peace, forever intertwined with the sweetest memories of our time together.
