Obituary For Larry Elton Spalding
Virginia Beach
Larry Elton Spalding, 71, of Virginia Beach passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
Mr. Spalding was born September 6, 1944 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to the late John Robert Spalding and Billye Jo Campbell. He retired from from the U.S. Military as an instructor and later in life he became a Teacher for Virginia Beach Public Schools. He was a devoted husband, loving father and dear friend to many.
Survivors include his wife, Linda J. Spalding and his four children, John, Rebecca, Christopher and Patrick.

I can still visualize Larry driving around in the Ford Hardtop convertible. Quite a deal in the 60's! Condolences to the family from a fellow "base brat" at Dyess AFB. Those were the days! Cruise on, Larry!

Rest in peace treasured Classmate of the Cooper High School Class of 1962. You will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

I only knew Larry a couple of years at Cooper HS, but remember his smiling face & pleasant personality well. Good to know & not surprising that he became a teacher! Sorry for your loss
