Linda Joyce Sikes, born on August 30, 1943, in the beautiful state of Maine, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, in Chesapeake, Virginia, at the age of 81.

Linda dedicated her professional life to her work as a bookkeeper, where her meticulous nature and dedication shone brightly. She was known for her attention to detail and unwavering commitment to her profession.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lewis Milton Sikes, and her parents, Harold and Christina Maybury. Linda is survived by her cherished daughter, Tracy Jackson, and her extended family, who will remember her with love and fondness.

While her presence will be greatly missed, those who knew her will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.

A service to honor Linda's life will be held at a later date, allowing friends and family to come together in remembrance of a woman whose quiet strength and steady kindness touched the lives of many.
