Obituary For Linda Warzenski

Linda Warzenski passed away peacefully on March 2, 2021 with her family by her side. She was loved by all and always brought happiness to others with her infectious smile. Linda did not know a stranger and once you met her, you had a friend for life. She was a Wife for 49+ years, a devoted Mom, Grandma, Nonna, a Great-Grandmother, a Sister, an Aunt and a best friend to all. She showed her love in her cooking, she would make the most delicious meals and invite everyone over. “If you ever came over to her house, you were leaving full(stuffed) and happy.” And she would always want you to eat more. We called her Snow White because people were not the only thing she enjoyed feeding. Linda would feed any living creature she saw in need. From having a car trunk full of dry cereal to feed the seagulls in the winter, to the bags of bird seed for the ducks in her closet, cat food for the strays, food for the opossums and raccoons, to the dog biscuits in her work room, she never let an animal be hungry.

Linda worked at the “Chesapeake House on the Bay” for over 42 years. She started there with a janitorial service but through the years she became so much more. Linda loved her work family and cared for them in their time of need just as she would her own. Linda loved her job and her friends that she made over those many years. She was so dedicated, she worked through chemotherapy and radiation. She worked tired and in pain, she continue to work as long as possible because that is what made her happy. Her life in the Chesapeake House was so much more than a job. Her family is so grateful to all of you for loving her back.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Thomas(Tommy). She had two daughters Tracy Burton (Kelly)and Robyn Beck (Tim). She had five grandchildren Conner(Jordan), Dustin, Hunter, Coral(Matt),and Sage. Willow was her first great grandchild with Greyson on the way. Linda’s sisters Pam (Dennis)and Noreene (Joe)were by her side along with her nieces and nephews that she loved like her own children, Kim(Donnie) Stacey, Dennis, John (Tonya), Erin, Ricky(Lindsey), Craig(Lauren) and Jade(Kristal). Her lifelong best friend Dorina never left her side. With so many more significant others, and friends that became family. We are all so thankful for all the love, happiness and kindness Linda shared with us. We are better because of it.

Life will never be the same without you, you were the light in our lives. Now that you are gone, the light does not go out. It shines in all of us left behind. In your family and friends, in the food we eat. In the drinks we drink. In our smile and in our laughter. The torch will be passed on and live forever. We love you

My heart and prayers are filled with deepest sympathy in the loss of dear sweet Linda. Her daily smile brought sunshine to everyone for many years. She always took time to check on my mother in the Chesapeake House for eight years. They shared the same birthday. We loved her dearly.
May happy memories help to comfort you in this time of deep sorrow. Rest In Peace my friend.

I moved to Chesapeake House on the Bay last August so I have not known Linda very long but she is a dear person I will never forget and thank God for putting her in my life for this short time.
Her constant smile and desire to help - her kindness - are something I aspire to.
I pray God will ease your hearts and smiles and good memories will soon fill your hearts.

Linda was a very nice person, and I loved her cooking. Even though I hadn't seen her in many years, I will miss her. I will always remember all the times we were at her house. She will be missed.

I have known Linda since 1986 when I moved to the Chesapeake House. She was more than an employee here. She was like our Mom, Aunt, or Big Sister. She did so many extra things for many of us over the years; especially when we were ill or had family tragedies or difficulties. She was always at the door with food, cards, and kind words. Many residents were only able to stay here as long as they did once they became very elderly or ill because of Linda's unselfish care. She was a unique person who ALWAYS put everyone first; never herself. I already miss her lovely smile and contagious laugh. How blessed I am to have known her. I so grieved when she got ill.

Linda was one of my older sisters but she was also my best friend, partner in crime (lol), confident, & surrogate mother to me. Shes been there since I was born and to be honest I cant remember a time when she wasn't. She was there for my children as well. She will always be in my heart but I miss her so much.

Linda will be remembered for the rest of my life. I am one of her Chesapeake House family. There is not enough room here to write how wonderful she was, so I will say she was one of the best people I have ever met!
    So sad!

We were very sad to hear of Linda's passing. We met her when first moving into the Ches. House in 97 and always enjoyed conversations with her. Great lady with a lot of energy who will be missed by many. Blessed be.
