Norfolk, VA - Lois Estelle (Harris) Corker, a devoted wife, mother, and esteemed restaurateur, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, in Norfolk, Virginia. Born on August 9, 1940 in Richmond, Virginia, she lived a fulfilling life of 85 years.

Lois was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Leon and Rose (Gammon) Harris. She is survived by her devoted husband, James F. Corker Jr., her loving sons, Melvin P. Hancock and Chip Hancock, and their spouses, Jessica Albrecht and Kristin Hancock, along with her loving grandchildren, Chandler Hancock, Libby DesRochers and Adam DesRochers, and Molly Hancock. In addition to her immediate family, numerous other family members, friends, neighbors, and her Restaurant family members over the many years will cherish her memory and miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 16th, at 2:00pm at the Harbor Walk Clubhouse. The address is 4145 Harbor Walk Ave, Norfolk, VA 23518. Friends and family are welcome to come and join in celebrating the beautiful life of Lois. There will be food and drinks and stories to share.
