Lynne Regina Schmidt, a devoted homemaker and beloved stay-at-home mother, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, in Norfolk, VA, at the age of 70. Born on November 11, 1954, in Brooklyn, NY, Lynne was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her gentle spirit.

Lynne's greatest joy in life was taking care of her family, always ensuring their happiness and well-being. Her love and warmth created a nurturing home environment where cherished memories were made. She found fulfillment in her role as a homemaker, where her selfless devotion and kindness touched the hearts of those around her.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Carol Cordova and James Cordova. Lynne's legacy of love and care continues to be felt by her surviving family, including her devoted husband, Walter Joseph Schmidt, and her dear son, Christopher Schmidt.

At this time, there are no services scheduled to honor Lynne's life. Her family takes comfort in the cherished memories they hold and the lasting impact of her love and dedication.

Lynne will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will remain in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
