Portsmouth - Margaret Jane Davis Martin transcended this earth on February 9 2025. She left behind 3 children, Shelley Lauren Stephens, William Tyler Martin and Mikel Scott Martin and grandson Connor Ryan Desmond.
Margie was free spirit, a warrior, but most proudly a mother, a mother to more than just her 3 children. A mother to anyone in need. She might not have always told you what you wanted to hear, but she told you what you needed to hear, and you were left knowing, everything little thing is going to be alright. She was a fighter, and fought hard for what she believed. In doing so gave us the strength to do so ourselves. And for that we're eternally thankful. Rest in peace Margie. "Mom"

To the family of Margaret Davis Martin. My condolences. I met your loved one as a Portsmouth driver for Lee's Friends's, the local nonprofit organization helping people with cancer. We had great conversations about life. What a fighter and an inspiration she was. She lovingly spoke of her children and family which included persons who chose to call her mom. A beautiful spirit!

Dear, sister, I will miss you and our many, hours-long conversations on the phone. We may not have been raised together but I am so glad God brought us together 11 years ago. I love you and will miss you. No more pain for you. Fly high, dear one.
