When I met Marie almost 40 years ago, she was a young hair stylist with a positive attitude toward living. We were part of a loose knit group of mostly single parents who took turns socializing at our different homes. Our kids played together during these get togethers. Every year Marie would trade a haircut for me doing her tax returns. (She always got a refund!) Those years were many good memories and I'm glad that Marie, as my friend, was a part of them.
