Murfreesboro, NC - Mark Kim Qualtieri, born on August 1, 1955, in Waterloo, New York, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 71.

Mark honorably served his country as a dedicated member of the United States Navy, from which he retired after many years of faithful service. His commitment to his work and his country was a testament to his character and resolve.

Mark pursued higher education and achieved a Master's Degree, a testament to his dedication and lifelong pursuit of knowledge.

In addition to spending time with his family, Mark enjoyed hunting, tinkering with stuff, hanging out with his friends (who were like family). He was a man of faith and loved his bible.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Santo Qualtieri and Shirley Conley Covert, and his daughter, Marcy. Mark is survived by his devoted wife, Tina Qualtieri, and his cherished daughters, Miranda and Tessa. His presence is also deeply missed by numerous other family members and friends who had the privilege of knowing him.
