Martin Spiesz, Jr., 76, died at his home on May 13, 2018 in Chesapeake, VA.

Martin was born on December 14, 1941 in Newark, NJ. He was a master mechanic. He worked at Houdaille Quarry, Volvo, and Marine Hydraulics International, Inc. He loved cooking, fishing, and gardening, and his dog Thor. His favorite sport was baseball, loved watching the Yankees.

Martin is survived by his children, Marty (Carrie), Dena, and Danny (Trina); grandchildren, Dana, Grace, Andrew, Anthony, Meghan, and Emily; siblings, Barbara (Barry), Rose (Ray), and Joanne (Charlie). He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Sr. and Catherine (Loch) Spiesz of Manchester, NJ.

A private memorial service was held by family and friends.
