Williamsburg, VA - Mary Bob (Johnson) Armstrong, born on January 25, 1935, in Longview, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the age of 91.

Mary was a dedicated and accomplished individual who devoted much of her life to the field of education. She served with distinction as a Teacher Placement Director for the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she made a significant impact on the lives of countless educators and students through her work.

She earned a Master’s Degree, reflecting her commitment to learning and excellence in her profession. Her career was marked by a passion for nurturing talent and empowering others to achieve their full potential.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving parents, Acey and Lois (Winchester) Johnson, and her beloved husband, John D. Armstrong. She is survived by her children, her cherished grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
