Mary Catherine Hryskanich of Virginia Beach, Virginia, born on December 8, 1968, in Florida, passed away peacefully in Virginia Beach on July 4, 2025, at the age of 56.

Mary was a dedicated and successful restaurant owner, known for her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence in her profession. Her hard work and determination allowed her to build a respected name within the culinary world, serving her community with passion and dedication.

A graduate with a Bachelor’s degree, Mary valued education and lifelong learning, which she applied diligently throughout her career and personal life. Her devotion to her craft and business left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ruthanne and John Gibson. She will be remembered fondly for her kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to those she held dear.

Services for Mary Catherine Hryskanich will be held at a later date. Her memory will be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her, including her husband, John and her legacy will continue to live on through the lives she touched.
