Mary was such a sweet, kind, professional and considerate Co-worker and friend. Smart and sharp like a whip. When we first met I knew we would get along. She helped me out a lot when I arrived at Ft Monroe as a contractor. My first impressión was that she was kind, smart and very competent. She was such a nice lady and friend, and had a great reputation for knowing her work, being kind and helping others. She was such a pleasure to work with and a kind and considerate soul. I am a better person for having known her. We will miss her. May she rest in peace. My condolences to her daughter and the rest of her family. She is with God now and can rest in peace as she looks down on us from heaven. Amén 🙏 - Sincerely, your ex-coworker and friend, Dary Garcia

My Dear Friend Mary Quickbear, I love her and I Miss her so much. A few weeks before her passing I saw her in Wal-Mart, we had a quick conversation cause she was on her way to a Doctors appointment, we made plans to do a luncheon. I will see you in Heaven to have that lunch with you my Sister. Bless Bri and Family, when you want I'm just a cell call away. I love you Bri and my deepest condolences and sympathy to you and your Kids and Husband. May God grant you serenity, peace, a heart filled of love that your Mom gave you unconditionally, with the Beautiful Kodak Moments, her beautiful smile, her kindness and big heart of caring, I miss her and love her. I have so many memories of Mary, just to name a few the Child Development Center at Fort Monroe where our Children grew up at and we formed a friendship that has lasted over 20 plus years, to working together in Futures Center to ARCIC in TRADOC, I remember when she moved into her house I was there, when Bri went to College I was there, and many other occasions like grandchildren. I went straight to Mary house upon my return from Ft Leavenworth KS, hearing about her heart attack, I was in shock, and I wanted to make sure she was ok, I had to lay my eyes on her, once I saw her big smile I was relieved but I still prayed for her healthy healing recovery. I am honored and blessed to have being in Mary's life as she was in mine. An Angel has been sent home to Glory, one more Angel is watching over you Bri and Family forevermore. Ms Lela Young
