Chesapeake, VA - Mary Ellen (Smith) Poole, age 71, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, in Chesapeake, Virginia. She was born on October 6, 1954, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to the late Milburn and Helen (Luksa) Smith.

Mary dedicated many years of her life working as a Retail Sales Clerk, where she was known for her warm smile and friendly demeanor. Her kindness and compassion touched all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dwayne C. Poole, along with numerous family members and friends who will dearly miss her presence in their lives.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Milburn and Helen Smith. Though she has left this world, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
