Michael John Seamon, 66, of Yorktown, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 22, 2025. Born on May 29, 1959, in McDiner, Ohio, Michael was the beloved son of Donna Jean Crooks and the late John Urban Seamon.

Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose generous spirit and sense of humor brightened the lives of all who knew him. He is survived by his cherished wife, Nancy Jean Seamon; his children, Michael Seamon, Ellie Mae Seamon, and Paul Seamon; his stepchildren, Arthur Rose and Precious Rose; and his adored grandchildren, JaybreannaTracey, Augustine Tracey, Lola Catalina Wilson, and Simon Beningo Wilson. He is also survived by his mother, Donna Seamon; his brothers, Matthew “Matt” Seamon, Luke Seamon, John Seamon, and Mark Seamon; and his sister, Jeanann Hasselbach. He was preceded in death by his father, John Seamon.

Michael loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially at lively cookouts where laughter filled the air. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and could often be found enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. Known for his sweet tooth, he especially enjoyed a good slice of chocolate or coconut cake. Michael also found joy in bowling at AMF Lanes and cherished the memories he made while working nights at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Ohio—a place that captured his love for people and fun.

Those who knew Michael will remember his kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
