Mr. Ralph Leo Hunter, Jr., 43, of Chesapeake, passed away at home surrounded by his family on March 28, 2011. He was born on August 2, 1967, in Norfolk, VA, the first and only son to Gwendolyn L. Hunter and the late Ralph Leo Hunter Sr. Ralph leaves to cherish his memory a son, James Wynn; a daughter, Shannon Jones; four grandchildren, of Virginia Beach, VA; a mother, Gwendolyn Doughtie of Breckenridge, TX; four sisters, Victoria Anderson, Tammy Harper, Susan Burnham, of Chesapeake, VA, and Lorrie Hunter of Owen Sound, Canada; two brothers-in-law, both of Chesapeake; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. A memorial service to honor Ralph will be held Saturday at noon at Grace Baptist Temple, 1101 Burns St. Chesapeake, VA.
