Obituary For Otto Michael Davis

Virginia Beach

Otto Michael Davis, 59, also known as "Mason" too many friends, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away March 11, 2015 at the Sentara Hospice House.

He was born September 16, 1955 in Panama City, FL to the late George F. Davis (VA Beach) and Arlene M. Ponder (Oskaloosa, KS). Mike was a third generation mason by trade which was taught to him by his father and he worked throughout the United States. Mike loved to surf in his younger years and was always an avid fisherman.

Mike leaves behind his wife of nearly 30 years, LeAnn Davis (Bonita Springs, FL); daughters, Elizabeth Carol Davis (VA Beach) and Bonnie Fay Davis (Klamath Falls, OR); son, George Felix Davis (Bonita Springs, FL); sisters, Linda M. Stevens (Crestview, FL) and Georgianne Davis (Panama City Beach, FL); brother, George G. Davis (KC, MO); nephews, Johnny Stevens and family (Mobile, AL), George Stevens and family (Crestview, FL); Becky Scott, a friend from his Childhood, (Chicago, IL) as well as a friend and caretaker in his final days, Debbie Heuneman.

The family extends special thanks to all the wonderful staff at the Sentara Hospice House.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sentara Hospice House in the name of Mike Davis.

    I met mike in early 80s.we had a lot of good times and caught hundreds of fish . He was a good and loyal friend and I miss him already. Wished I could of helped him but he was hard to find the last few years.In life he worked hard and played hard but he seemed to enjoy it..... ... RIP my friend.. God bless Steve Todd

    I am thankful to have been able to get to know the sweet and kind side of Mason..I knew him for many years, but never would have dreamed in a million years that he would live with me and that I would be taking care of him during his last months.. We shared a lot of laughs, and also a lot of tears!! I will always remember my good friend, The Mason Man… He always called me his Angel…. Now he can be our Angel… Love u buddy!!
