Patricia Brown Dudley
November 9, 1953 - August 13, 2024

Patricia Brown Dudley, 70 of Norfolk departed this life on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 after a brief illness but shall live on through the hearts & memories of the many lives she touched.

Patricia was born in Bradford, Tennessee on November 9, 1953 to her loving parents Bernice 'Buster' B. Brown and Helen Hall Brown. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clinton L. Dudley, two brothers, Donald Scott Brown and John Thomas Brown III and a son Daryl Craig Johnson.
Patricia is survived by son Thomas 'Scottie' Johnson of Norfolk and Jennifer 'Jenni' Johnson Camden (Ken) of Gastonia, NC, 4 grandchildren Taylor (Selin) Midgett, Logan Midgett, Dylan Johnson & Bailey Camden, 2 great grandchildren Brody Taylor Midgett & Evelynn Rose Midgett. Also surviving are two brothers Robert Brown of Hampton and Danny (Kitty) Brown of Virginia Beach, two sisters Deborah Brown of Norfolk and Sheryl Anderson of Chesapeake, step daughter Angie (Jeff) Foster of Moyock, NC as well as many special nieces & nephews whom she loved & adored.

Patricia was an extraordinary lady, considerate, selfless & loving not only to her family but to the many surrogate souls that she helped raise & nurture throughout her life. She was a dedicated employee and volunteer of the Salvation Army where she served for over 25 years. She loved her job, admired the work of the Salvation Army, treasured her co-workers including her closest friend Gladys.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, August 31st at 1pm the Salvation Army Kroc Center at 1401 Ballentine Blvd. Norfolk.
