Obituary For Patricia Ann Nugent Neto

Patricia Ann Nugent Neto, a devoted mother, Yaya, and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was born on June 12, 1953, in Petersburg, Virginia, to Dennis and Ruth Nugent.

Throughout her life, Patricia dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family and to her work. She spent many years in customer service at Harris Teeter, where she was known for her strong work ethic, warm smile, and willingness to help anyone who needed it.

Patricia’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was her son Blake’s biggest supporter from the very beginning and never stopped cheering him on. She never missed a game and could always be found on the sidelines, proudly supporting and cheering on her son and later her grandchildren. Being “Yaya” was her most treasured role. She showed up faithfully, loved deeply, and made her family feel steady and supported in every season of life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Dennis Nugent, whose memories she carried with her always.

Patricia leaves behind her beloved son, Blake Neto (Rachel); her three cherished grandchildren, Arielle, Titus, and Roman; her brothers, Bill (Janet) and Jon (Gloria); along with her niece and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share memories, laughter, and stories of the love she gave so freely.

Patricia will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her quiet strength, her hardworking nature, and the constant love and encouragement she gave to those around her. Her presence was steady, her support was unconditional, and her love will continue to be felt for generations.

Simply Cremation is assisting Patricia’s family with the arrangements.
