Obituary For Patricia Ann Taylor

Virginia Beach- Patricia (Patty) Ann Taylor, 70, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, joined our Lord on September 22, 2021. The eldest daughter of Bill and Theresa Glass, she was the last soul created from a mold that has since been broken. Patty left a room, the world, even just a stranger’s heart, a better place than she found it. She filled this world with beauty in the form of thousands upon thousands of beautiful flower arrangements created over the course of her working life, as well as an enumerable number of lives touched by her positive glow, soft smile, and piles of “happy rocks”. Patty was a work of art that can never be duplicated. A soft summer breeze that can never again be felt, in quite the same way. A song that can never again be sung as sweetly. She is survived by her sons, Bradley and Brett, her sisters Barbara and Theresa (Cookie), her brothers Michael and Steven, and her grandchildren, Christopher, Sayge, Tristen, and Bowen. The love felt by all of her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends is beyond compare. She was more than this world deserved, and while she has gone, her love, light, and kindness will never be extinguished. Remember not, this day. Rather, remember every day that was shared with her, that she made just a little bit brighter. Remember those days, and smile. “Smile, though your heart is aching. Smile, even though it’s breaking.     Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Affection, gentleness, warmth, concern, and care are all words related to kindness. My Aunt Patty embodied kindness with every breath she took. She loved with her entire being and not one person who knows her would disagree. I will miss everything about you. No matter how unfair life was, she was somehow able to see the good in it. These are traits that cannot be taught. I will miss you so much!     We will never know the number of people touched by this perfect soul. She never passed up a chance to share her love and change a life simple by a small piece of glass with a simple smile drawn on it the brighten up a person that simply passed by. A Chile. A teen. A mother, father or random senior that caught her eye. Those random acts of kindness will keep her present for many years. Love you Patty. Thank God you were my sister. What a luck human I am l.
