Patricia Louise Slade, 81, of Chesapeake, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2026.

Born on September 11, 1944, in Virginia, Patricia lived a life defined by kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She spent many years working as an auto insurance agent, where her professionalism, caring personality, and willingness to help others earned the admiration of clients and colleagues alike.

Patricia's greatest joy came from the relationships she built throughout her life. She had a warm smile, a generous heart, and a comforting presence that made everyone around her feel welcome. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and selflessness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert J. Grymes and Julia Elizabeth Walker.

Patricia is survived by her son, Michael Slade and his wife, Aimee. Patricia also leaves behind her grandchildren, Gavin and Kensleigh Slade. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Although her passing leaves a tremendous void, the love she shared and the memories she created will continue to bring comfort for years to come.
