Paul Daniel Yizar Jr., a cherished husband and dedicated resource officer in education, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, in Portsmouth, VA, at the age of 76. Born on March 24, 1950, in Port Chester, NY, Paul led a life marked by commitment and service to others.

Paul was the beloved son of the late Juanita (Germany) Yizar and Paul Daniel Yizar Sr., whose values he carried throughout his life. His career as a resource officer in education allowed him to make a positive impact on countless young lives, guiding and supporting students with compassion and understanding.

He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly June Yizar (née Cooks), who stood by his side through all of life's seasons. Their partnership was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect.

Funeral services will be held at a later date, allowing friends and family to gather in remembrance and celebration of Paul's life and legacy.
