With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of our father Phab Dip, of Bellevue, Washington born on February 4, 1949, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, in Newport News, Virginia, at the age of 77.

Phab led a life marked by dedication and service. In his early years, he served with honor in the Cambodian Army to later living a life filled with creativity, laughter, music, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the world around him. He was known for his career as a landscaping designer, where he transformed outdoor spaces with vision, care, and artistic talent. Nature was one of his greatest joys, and he had a gift for seeing beauty and possibility wherever he went.

Outside of work, music held a special place in his heart. He especially loved playing the traditional Cambodian instrument, the Tro Sau, and listening to music that brought comfort and connection. Through music, he shared culture, memories, and joy with those around him.

Phab was also known for his memorable sense of humor and favorite saying: “I know everything.” Those who knew him knew this phrase often came with a smile and became one of the many things that made him unforgettable.

He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures—trying good food, spending money on meals he enjoyed, visiting the casino, and most importantly, spending time with his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His happiest moments were often surrounded by family, conversation, music, and laughter.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hov Nay, son Khasar Nay Phab and his parents. He leaves behind a loving family, his devoted daughters, Samantha Phab, Sutah Aquino, and son Sudan Phab, along with his grandchildren and great- grand children and all family and friends who will continue to carry his memory forward.

His legacy lives on in every beautiful landscape, every melody played, every shared meal, and every joyful family gathering.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Rest peacefully.
