IN LOVING MEMORY OF PHILLIP D. SAMUELS

PHILLIP “PHEMO” SAMUELS 67, departed this world on April 13,2025. He peacefully concluded his journey surrounded by his loved ones.

Phillip was born on July 14, 1957, in Newport News. He joined the Army at a young age. After service he dedicated his talents to Gwaltney of Smithfield, Virginia.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Thelma Osborne Vick and Harrold Samuels along with five of his siblings, Floyd Samuels, Micheal Samuels (Cindy Lou), George Samuels, Mark Samuels and Joanne Samuels.

He leaves to cherish his memory his stepfather Willie C. Vick, two sisters, Sherry Jean and Alma Samuels and two brothers Harold Samuels Jr., Willie Samuels (Jewel Samuels) followed by a host of nieces and nephews.

Although I am gone from sight

I walk with you every day and night

Grieve if you may

But be comforted by what I say

Do not weep for me

Rejoice

For God has made his choice.

Walk with joy

And not in guilt

Cause in this life

We all must make this trip

So, cry if you must

Do not dismay

For we will meet again

Some day
