Virginia Beach, VA - Rachel Anne (Spear) (Derousseau) Gaglione, a cherished resident of Virginia Beach, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, in Norfolk, VA. Born on December 23, 1970, in Portsmouth, VA, Rachel graced this world with her vibrant presence for 55 years.

Rachel was the beloved daughter of the late Kathleen Fitzgerald Spear and Robert Grady Spear II. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen D. King, and brother, Stephen P. Spear. Rachel embraced life with warmth and kindness, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Though retired, Rachel carried her experiences and wisdom into every interaction, touching the lives of those around her with her gentle heart and unwavering spirit.

She is survived by her loving children, Breanna and Victoria (Tori) Derousseau, her loving sisters and brother, Victoria (Vicky) Evans, Rebekah (RR) Long, and Robert (Grady) Spear III along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her deeply.
