Raymond Gonsalez Lorenzo, Sr., age 80 went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2020. He was born on September 28, 1940 in Rinco, PR to the late Maria Gonzalez Lorenzo and to the late Margaro Lorenzo. Raymond was raised in New York and drove a taxi. He met his wife Shirley Rose Aquino Lorenzo (predeceased) there. They married on June 8, 1970 and were married for 30 years. They moved to Chesapeake, Virginia where he worked in concrete and construction, and retired as a Security Guard with General Dynamics. He enjoyed playing cards, playing pool, baseball, traveled with the Bay Skippers and being around family. Raymond was predeceased by his daughter Amy Lorenzo-Ferrell, his sister Otilia Lorenzo and his brother Ino Steve Lorenzo. Cherishing his loving memories are his son Raymond Lorenzo Jr. (wife, Debbie), his daughter Christine Wells, stepson John Jones (Shirley Stephenson), his grandchildren, Alyssa Hall, Raelei Lorenzo, Melody Anderson, Gearin Stephens, (wife, Kaitlyn), Amanda Douglas, Kenny Ferrell, Ruben Villegas, Caleb Ferrell, Alicia Root, Jacob Ferrell, his great grandchildren JoJo Johnson, Lonzo Johnson, Macie Ferrell and Aurora Ferrell. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
