Robert C. Finkbeiner, 90, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Commonwealth Senior Living. Robert (Bob) is survived by his wife, Rachel, and son, Robert C. Finkbeiner, Jr. He is also survived by brother Herbert (Alber) and wife Margaret, sister in law Irene Finkbeiner, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Finkbeiner; sister Jane Mack and husband Lawrence Mack, brother Howard; brother Gerald Finkbeiner and wife Marilyn; and brother Richard Finkbeiner and wife Olive.

Bob served proudly in the United States Army with the Radar Engineering branch.

Bob was a graduate of Ann Arbor High School and earned his undergraduate degree and Master's degree from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. He was also an ardent member of the Michigan Marching Band.
