Obituary For Robert Edward Livingston

Virginia Beach - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Edward Livingston, who departed this life on July 23, 2025, at the age of 80.

Born on January 9, 1945, in Clinton, North Carolina, Robert was a cherished son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Robert and Maxine spent most of their lives raising their children in Connecticut.

Robert spent the later years of his life residing in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he peacefully passed away with family by his side. He was a dedicated employee, working as a Driver for Bonney Bright Hauling Company before retiring. His commitment to his work was a testament to his strong character and steadfast nature.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Johnie and Nettie (Edward) Livingston, as well as his devoted wife, Maxine (Banks) Livingston, two sisters, Julia McKinney and Kay Swanson, and brother Johnny Livingston, and his son in law, Albert Weeks. Their memories were treasures he held close, and their absence deeply felt in his later years.

He leaves behind his children, Rev. Elaine (Norman) Paquette, Faye Livingston-Weeks, and Anthony Livingston of Virginia Beach, William (Ronise) Livingston of Chesapeake, VA, sisters Alice Livingston of CT, Linda Kinchen of TX, and brother William Livingston of CT, six grandchildren, Markell (Deanna), Robert (Ashley), Taylor, Alanna, Mason and Camryn, four great-grandchildren, Skylar, Robert Jr., Savannah, and McKinley, a host of nieces, nephews , a bonus brother and sister, Melvin and Margie Lowe of CT.
