Obituary For Robert "Robbie" Joseph Bube

Louisville, Kentucky - Robert “Robbie” Joseph Bube, a cherished husband, father, Pop, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, in Newport News, Virginia, at the age of 63. Born on October 30, 1962, in Louisville, Kentucky, Robbie lived a life marked by dedication to his family and his trade.

A proud resident of Louisville, Robbie was visiting Newport News at the time of his passing. He was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church. Robbie devoted many years of his life as a skilled plumber, working tirelessly and earning respect within UA Local 502, from which he retired. His commitment to excellence in his field was recognized by all who knew him. After retirement, he enjoyed teaching the next generation of plumbers and pipefitters.

Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joseph Bube and Bonnie Farris and sister Mary Beth Robertson, Robbie leaves behind a legacy through his loving wife, Connie (Taulbee) Bube, children Allie (Tim) Greenwood, Mason (Morgan) Bube, grandchildren Joseph, Genevieve, Easton and Leo. He is also survived by numerous other beloved family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

    Heartbreaking if you didn't know Rob let me tell you he was a never met a stranger type person he could light up a room as soon as he walked in, Rob aways had the right words to make you smile he could turn a bad day into a good day, worked with him for years and he was a very knowledgeable and skilled plumber and customers loved him and would ask for him by name but that was ok because he would get me to come and help lol prayers for family and friends

    To Connie, Allie, Mason and Family, I am so sorry and sad to hear about Robbie. We were first cousins and grew up together in our younger years. So many wonderful memories of Robbie!! He was a good man and loved his family with all his heart and soul. He was a hard worker and always was there to help. He always had a smile and kind word when we saw each other. He will be missed.     I was so devastated to hear about Rob's passing. The world has truly lost a great man. Rob had a wonderful sense of humor and he cared deeply about his family and friends. We had a great friendship that I will always cherish. Sending love and prayers to Connie and family. ~Shannon~
