Obituary For Rodney Moses Boone

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rodney Moses Boone, a cherished husband, father, brother, son, and friend, who departed on October 30, 2024 at the age of 50, in his home, surrounded by his loving family in his final moments.

Rodney is survived by his spouse Maria Boone; two sons Roshan Boone and Lorenzo Boone; and two grandkids Luxieli "Lux" Torres-Boone and Roshan "Romo" Torres-Boone, who will continue to honor his legacy. Also left to cherish fond memories are his six sisters (Linda Faulkins, Scylene Shelton, Francene McInnis, Emma Mason, Grace Boone, Robbernette Boone), three brothers (Darnelle Spence, Bruce "Champ" Spence, Robbie Boone), and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Rodney is preceded in death by his father Robert Moses Boone, mother Gracie Louise Boone, brother Ronald "Ronnie" Boone, and son Elijah "Sneeky" Boone.

Respecting Rodney and Maria's wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held. A private gathering will take place, remembering Rodney in the presence of close family.

    Our brother Moe left a huge empty space in our family. You could always count on him to make you laugh and also think. He was so insightful and funny. Even though he was the youngest, he definitely had an old soul and would always joke and say to his older siblings, "I got kids your age" LOL. We'll miss him so much. And anytime our family gets together with laughs and jokes like we always do, he will be there in our hearts and minds because we know he not only would have been laughing too, but he more than likely would have been the ring leader of the shenanigans! We love you #11
