It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Charles, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who departed this life on February 12, 2026, at the age of 79. Ronald was born on February 27, 1946, in New York, and passed away in Chesapeake, Virginia, surrounded by his loving family.

Ronald dedicated his life to the service of others, both as a highly respected therapist and during his esteemed career in the United States Navy, from which he retired as a Senior Chief. His commitment to helping individuals and serving his country will be remembered by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Albert and Teresa Charles. Left to honor his memory are his devoted wife, Diane Charles, their children, and an extended family and close friends who will forever hold him dear in their hearts.

Though no immediate services are planned, a memorial to celebrate Ronald's life will be held at a later date. During this time, all who were touched by Ronald’s kindness and wisdom are invited to reflect on the legacy he leaves behind.

His family wishes to extend gratitude for the support and condolences received from all who knew him. Ronald's presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone he encountered.
