Ronald "Ronnie" Eugene Morgan, 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Oak Grove Rehabilitation Center in Chesapeake. Ronnie was born to Robert and Freda Morgan on October 15, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA. He was a graduate of Granby High School in Norfolk and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War before being honorably discharged. After his military service, Ronnie joined the Norfolk Fire Department and retired after thirty years as a Captain. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Deanna Morgan; brothers, Paul Morgan, Randy Morgan and Doug Morgan (Tina); sister, Paulette Williamson (Willie); one son, Brandon Keith Morgan (Lindsay); and two grandchildren, McKenzie and Kenley. Ronnie also had five nephews- Paul, Jr., Brian, Mark, Morgan and Robert. Funeral arrangements are pending. In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their local volunteer fire department or veteran charity in Ronnie's memory.
