Rudine Clipper, beloved daughter of the late Edward Clipper and Clara May Hinton, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, in Virginia at the age of 86. Born on June 24, 1938, in the rolling hills of Kentucky, she led a life dedicated to the service and care of others.

A compassionate soul with a nurturing spirit, Rudine pursued a career in nursing, earning an Associate's Degree as a Registered Nurse. Throughout her years of service, she touched countless lives with her kindness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to patient care. Her work was more than just a profession; it was her calling, and she fulfilled it with dignity and grace.

Rudine was predeceased by her siblings Eddie, Joseph, William, Dorothy, Wanda, and Patricia, as well as her son, Michael Maurice Puryear. Their memories remain cherished and enduring in the hearts of those who loved them.

She is survived by her loving children: Vincent Puryear of Atlantic Highlands, NJ; John Puryear of Suffolk, VA; and Euretta Hale, her devoted caregiver, of Virginia Beach, VA. Rudine's legacy continues through her six beloved grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory dear. She is also survived by her siblings Trina and Marvin Hinton, residing in West Virginia.

Rudine's legacy is one of devotion, kindness, and quiet strength. She will be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege of knowing her, and her contributions to the field of nursing will continue to inspire future generations.
