Russell Hollowood, a devoted family man and respected professional, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, in Virginia Beach, VA, at the age of 82. Born on November 17, 1943, in Buffalo, NY, Russell lived a life of service and dedication, both to his country and his family.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Russell continued his commitment to excellence as a consultant for the Navy, utilizing his expertise and wisdom to guide and support naval operations. His career was marked by integrity and diligence, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Russell was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Hollowood, and his parents, Robert and Laura Hollowood. He leaves behind his cherished children, along with extended family and numerous friends who will remember him for his kindness, strength, and unwavering support.

The family extends their gratitude to all who have reached out with condolences and support. Services to honor and celebrate Russell's life will be held at a later date.
