Chesapeake, VA - Sally Bonita (Beighton) Murphy, age 67, of Chesapeake, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026, in Virginia Beach, VA. Born on January 28, 1959, in Goldsboro, North Carolina, Sally was a devoted Coastlands Community Church volunteer and held an Associate Degree from San Diego Community College.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Larry and Marna (Swanson) Beighton. Sally is survived by her loving husband, Dennis D. Murphy, daughter Samantha McClure and her husband Caleb McClure, children Olivia, Cora, Jack and Henry, also sisters Lori Weyer, and Jane Laughrin and friends who will cherish her memory.

At the time of her passing, Sally and her husband were residents of Chesapeake, Virginia. No services are planned at this time. Simply Cremation is assisting her family during this difficult time.
