Sandra Jane Alsteen went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 19, 2016.

Sandie was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on January 19, 1947. She grew up and attended school in Milan, Michigan. She was predeceased by her father, Keith E. Edwards and her mother, Erna P. Matt Edwards. She is survived by one sister, Patricia A. Childers of Saline, Michigan.

Sandie moved to Virginia Beach in the early 80s because of her love of the ocean. Sandie was a member of The Gathering at Scott Memorial United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Youth Group there.

Cremation has taken place. Sandie's remains wlll be returned to her hometown of Milan, Michigan for burial.
