Obituary For Sarah Marie (Buchtel) Ross

Norfolk

Sarah Marie (Buchtel) Ross was born June 16, 1983 in Norfolk, VA. She graduated from Norview High School in 2001. She was once a lifeguard at Ocean View's Beaches. She loved animals, especially her dog Dixie. Unfortunately she passed away too early on July 29, 2012.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Roger and Jean Buchtel of Norfolk, and Dorothy Yost of Virginia Beach.

She is survived by her parents, Jeanne and Bryan Buchtel; her sister, Jennifer Sipe and her children Jessica and James of Norfolk; her husband, Wesley Ross and their daughter, Haley Ann, whom she absolutely adored; her grandfather, William Yost of Virginia Beach; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Also a good friend Zach and his daughter, Kali of Norfolk.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Norfolk or Virginia Beach SPCA in Sarah's name.

A private family gathering will be held, family and friends will be notified.

    I didn't know Sarah personally, but new her through Zach and Kali Murphy. She was so VERY young I'm so sorry she was taken away so young, sometimes life doesn't make sense. But only God knows why he decided to take her just now. She will be missed by alot of people. Time will heal the heartache, but she will live on in the hearts she touched. Sincerely The Bell Family.
