Shirley Southern, born on June 12, 1963, in Maryland, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, in Virginia Beach, VA at the age of 62.

Shirley dedicated her life to caring for others through her work as a Certified Nursing Aide, where she touched the lives of many with her compassion and dedication. Her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timothy Southern. She leaves behind a loving family, including her cherished children and extended family members, who will continue to honor her legacy.

A memorial service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at a later date. Her family extends their gratitude for the support and condolences received during this difficult time. Shirley will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
