Obituary For Stacie Marie Bennett

Stacie was born in Weymouth Massachusetts on November 15, 1961. She passed away in Chesapeake, Virginia on August 11, 2025. She was 63 years old.

Stacie attended schools in Hanover, MA and Dover-Foxcroft, ME. She graduated from Foxcroft Academy in 1979.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra M. Cavanaugh and father, Paul Francis Shortall.

She leaves behind her son Joshua Bennett of Uruguay, South America. She is also leaves behind her long-term partner Robert Tennett of Chesapeake, Virgina, three brothers; Sean Shortall and his wife Kim of Hermon, ME, Christopher Shortall and his wife Hilda of Bow, NH, and James Shortall and his wife Geri of Pelham, NH; and two nieces, Liezl Shortall and Gabriella Higgins.

She was a cat lover all of her life and leaves behind her beloved Pooh Bear.

In accordance with her wishes her service will be private.

Simply Cremation is assisting the family.
