Stanley A. Dorsey, 78 of Norfolk, passed away peacefully in his home. Stanley was born in Hinesville, Arkansas on June 17th, 1946.

Stanley was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Alice Dorsey, his mother Ina Bassett, his father Fred Dorsey, stepfather Joe Bassett, sister Dixie Dorsey, brother Randy Frye and twin brother Scotty Dorsey. He is survived by his many children: daughters Vicky and husband Roger, Vivian, Cinde, Patricia and husband Bob. Sons David and wife Phyllis, Pete and wife Laurie, and Eddie.

He is also survived by his two sisters Linda Stokes and Brenda Pierce as well as his brother Connie Dorsey.

We will be having a celebration of life at St Matthew's Catholic School on January 11th from 2pm to 5pm.
