Hampton - Steven Wayne Bailey, born on May 17, 1956, in Newport News, Virginia, passed away on June 14, 2025, in Hampton, Virginia, at the age of 69.

Steven was a dedicated former cook in the hospitality industry, where he spent many years contributing to the field with skill and diligence. He was known for his unwavering commitment to his work and the warmth he brought to those around him. Steven was the kindest soul and was much loved.

Steven was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James Franklin Bailey and Barbara Ann (Lewis) Swansey, also by his daughter Crystal Bailey, his brothers Jerry Vest, Robert Bailey and sister Barbara Dale Alcott. He is survived by his daughters, Catrena A. Bailey and Lisa S. Bailey, his brother, James Keith Bailey; and sisters, Carol Futrell and Kimberly Bailey Elfersy. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
